Q: What size tires can I get for a Jeep Commander?
I drive '07 Jeep Commander Limited, 4x4 hemi and I need new tires. I want to get some a little bigger than normal. What size do I need and how big can i get em?
A: You can fit most 255/65R17 tires (assuming 17 inch wheels) without modification.
Larger sizes will require a lift and possibly minor modification to the vehicle.
Q: 2006 Jeep Commander transmission fluid?
Any one can tell me how or where can I take my 2006 Jeep Commander to get the transmission fluid checked? I really dont want to go to the dealer and pay for service to get it done. thanks
Thanks C-Tech!
Yes Rita, if it was that easy i would of done it. I dont know if you know what you are talking about here, but the commanders dont come with a dipstick, reason why I had the question. thanks though.
A: You will need a special dipstick and a scan tool to accurately measure the fluid (the trans has to be at the right temp.) Since you probably have the 7/70 warranty on the Jeep, the dealer will probably check it under warranty if you believe there is something wrong with the way it shifts. Good luck.

Which is a cooler and more better looking SUV?
Jeep commander, Land Rover, etc?
A: Jeep commander i have one and i work at a jeep dealership so maybe im a little bias but its a great ride fun to drive never had a problem with it and besides you get a lifetime powertrain warrenty you can get a great deal on one considering they are not a big seller if your thinking bout getting one i suggest getting either a limited or an overland with a HEMI and the command view
Q: I have a 06 Jeep Commander. How much fluid dose the transfer case need, and what kind of fluid?
A: That's difficult to say. There are two types of fluid NV245, 247 fluid or ATF+4. If you have the transfer case with a low range shift select you ned the NV245 fluid and you need about 2.5 quarts. Now if you have the other transfer case that has no low range select you have to use ATF+4 and about 2.5 quarts.
Q: Is the jeep commander a men's car and is it any good?
Im looking for a new car? what would be a good car to buy myself?
A: It's a girly man car, get a new Ford F150.
Q: What do you think of the Jeep Commander?
Give your opinion.The 4.7L version.I like it.
A: I like it. I would buy a Jeep over a GM SUV anyday, but I'm biased. I've already owned a couple of Jeeps and found them to be more than capable and hardy. I've had VERY BAD experiences with GM's and at this point I wouldn't take one if it was GIVEN to me.
Q: What do you think of the Jeep Rocky Commander do?
I purchased one three days ago and I adore it. I must admit, I'm getting a lot of attention driving my little Ruby. Interested in fellow owners' opinions...
A: Great vehicle. I rented one of these for a week but it had the 3.7 liter 6 in it. The vehicle did not have any guts on the freeway, as it downshifted at the slightest touch of the pedal. I still like and will probably buy one with a 4.7 at least. I just wish it had a little more room in the back for luggage with the third seat up. I only got 17mpg with cruise on.
Q: I need listings of pros and cons about Hummer H3 and a 07 Jeep Commander?
of every thing
A: The H3 received the IIHS' lowest ratings ever (for its class) on all four crash tests (plus it has a pretty bad rollover rate). It earned a 'poor' on the rear AND side and 'acceptable' (which is akin to a 2 on a scale of 1 to 4) on the front crash. This isn't a secret. It's a piece of junk anyway. It's cheap to begin with and you get no visibility, poor mileage, uncomfortable seats, and very few options. It's built in Louisiana and is nothing more than a rebadged GMC or Chevy. It depreciates horribly and looks like you can't afford anything better.
The Jeep is just a Jeep. Their last triumph was the Grand Cherokee. Other than that, it's an obsolete vehicle that Jeep keeps reviving because people love low quality, mediocre SUVs.
Q: i was in a crash today in my 07 jeep commander and the air bags did not go off the front was smashed up good?
why did they not go off like i sed hit the front end hard
no it was brand new 0 mil
A: Your impact, as hard as it was, did not meet deployment parameters. A front airbag will deploy if you meet certain deceleration and impact criteria. Side airbags have been known to deploy by a sharp impact in the door post area, like using a heavy hammer to attempt to adjust a door striker plate.
